Haven Homes opens door to exclusive new development in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 9th March 2016
Local housing developer Haven Homes is launching its new exclusive waterfront properties at North Shore in Ramsey with an open weekend on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March.

The architecturally stunning three and four bedroom townhouses, built on a unique harbour side location, are Haven Homes’ second significant development, following on from the successful completion of their Hampton Farm properties on the outskirts of Douglas.

With striking modern designs, the 24 new North Shore townhouses are being built by Haven Homes to the highest specifications, offering outstanding value, superb energy efficiency and exceptional craftsmanship along with stunning sea views and easy access to Ramsey town centre.

The homes also feature elegant contemporary interiors, precision built German kitchens with A-rated appliances and luxury bathrooms. All the properties come with 12-year build warranties.

Haven Homes was established by a two local developers with the goal of providing Isle of Man residents the opportunity to enjoy living in unique smaller scale developments that combine dramatic fresh modern designs with excellent build quality and energy efficiency.

Dave Lewis, co-owner of Haven Homes, said: “Our homes are built to provide all the comfort and facilities a modern family expects with a level of style and individual design that is often only seen at the higher end of the market. We recognise there is a gap, and indeed a need, for good quality, distinctive affordable family homes on the Isle of Man and our North Shore properties, which are priced from ?219,000, are aimed at meeting that need.”

Haven Homes is based in Port Erin and Mr Lewis believes, having been an Island resident from birth, that local experience and expertise are the key to understanding local needs and opportunities in the housing market across the Island.

“Our local knowledge and understanding of the natural Island environment gives us an advantage in selecting potential areas for development. North Shore in Ramsey, for example, is unique in offering a spectacular waterside location with North Barrule providing a breath-taking natural backdrop.”

“Ramsey itself has recently gained a new lease of life resulting from the excellent regeneration works. It is a great place for families with good schools, plenty of leisure facilities, a range of lively independent shops, as well as being within walking distance of the sea and the countryside.”

“Our North Shore development is ideally positioned to enjoy all that Ramsey has to offer from the style, comfort and convenience of a modern home.”

The North Shore show home will be open from 11am to 4pm each day over the launch weekend. Visitors to the show home during this time will receive a ?15 Shoprite voucher as well as the chance to win a 16GB iPad Mini.

Haven Homes is also offering up to ?7,500 in furniture vouchers to help purchasers with the cost of furnishing their new property if they reserve a home during the launch weekend. All purchasers will also be given free entry to a prize draw to win a brand new Suzuki Vitara car.

Haven Homes’ North Shore development is situated on North Shore Road, opposite Mooragh Park.
