MHK wants mobile mast committee

by isleofman.com 10th March 2016

Fears over radio wave safety

An Onchan MHK will ask Tynwald to set up a committee to decide whether mobile phone masts are safe next week.

During the court’s March sitting, David Quirk will ask for a select committee of three members to be set up to look into the issue.

A planning application for a new mobile phone mast in Hillberry sparked questions during last month’s Tynwald sitting.

Mr Quirk will ask for three members to look into radio masts on the Isle of Man, along with their health and planning issues.
