Jury committee to hear from law society boss

Tynwald committee taking evidence this week

The president of the Island’s Law Society will be giving evidence later this week – at a hearing into the Manx jury system.

 

?The Select Committee looking into how juries work is holding an evidence session on Friday starting at 10.30am in the Legislative Council Chambers of Legislative Buildings in Bucks Road in Douglas.

 

Law Society head Simon Cain will give evidence to the three-man committee chaired by East Douglas MHK Chris Robertshaw.

 

The evidence will be taken in public.
