Diversity theme in Queen's message

Commonwealth Day address to Tynwald

The Queen has sent a message to Tynwald to commemorate Commonwealth Day.

 

This morning in the court, President of Tynwald Clare Christian read the address to members, with the Crown's representative Lieutenant Governor Adam Wood in attendance.

 

The message spoke of diversity and tolerance, calling for a celebration of individuality and inclusiveness:
