Temporary relocation of Council’s finance department

Douglas Borough Council is to temporarily relocate its finance department from Ridgeway Street to 13 Church Street while internal remedial work takes place in the town hall.

A temporary finance department counter will be provided at 13 Church Street (located to the rear of the town hall) from Monday March 21 until close of business on Friday June 17. The department will then resume full operations in the town hall from Monday June 20.

The remedial works, which are essential to maintain the fabric of the historic town hall building, are expected to be completed by mid-June. Officers of the department of environment and regeneration, including town centre management, will subsequently relocate permanently from Chesterfield House, Victoria Street to 13 Church Street in mid-July.
