Ritchie McNicholl to seek re-election

by isleofman.com 21st March 2016

Douglas Councillor Ritchie McNicholl has announced he is to seek re-election at the town council elections on April 28.

He said: ‘I have been proud and honoured to have been representing the voters of Murrays ward for the past 23 years and my enthusiasm to have a better Douglas, one we can all be proud of, has not waned. Although government are giving us more responsibilities with one hand they are taking the funds to do these tasks off us with the other; this will need careful management to make sure the ratepayers are protected from large rate increases.

‘I hope to call on the residents of Murrays ward in the run up to election day.’
