The Diana Princess of Wales Care at Home Trust have received a ?5,000 cheque from Creechurch Capital. The funds were raised during Creechurch’s fifth birthday celebrations which saw eighty guests gather at Portofino Restaurant for an evening of festivities.

Jennifer Houghton, trustee at Hospice at Home, said: “We are thrilled and truly appreciative to receive this gift from the team at Creechurch. It is through the generosity and support from the Manx community that we are able to provide the service we do and we simply can not operate without it. We are dependent on businesses like Creechurch who bring clients, friends and family to not only raise funds, but also, awareness for our cause.”

John Greenwood, CEO at Creechurch Capital, said: “It has been a real pleasure to be able to support Hospice at Home. Five years into business, our growth has exceeded expectations; it has been a great time for us to reflect. It seemed fitting that on our fifth birthday celebration we were able to support such a great cause. The service that Hospice at Home provides to the community is truly invaluable.”

The Diana Princess of Wales Care at Home Trust provides hospice care at home for Island residents with cancer or other life-limiting illnesses. The Trust funds nursing staff to provide respite care and end-of-life palliative care.
