Ramsey housing development opened by Minister

by isleofman.com 24th March 2016
Haven Homes’ distinctive new townhouse development at North Shore Ramsey was officially opened by Hon Laurence Skelly MHK, Minister for Economic Development, last weekend.

The launch of the development, which features three and four-bedroom contemporary homes built on a harbour side location by Ramsey’s North Shore, proved to be exceptionally popular with over 400 people arriving to tour the show home in the first two days. Already 14 out of a total of 24 homes have been reserved.

Dave Lewis, co-owner of Haven Homes, commented: “We are thrilled with the success of our launch weekend. The number of reservations that have been made really demonstrate how special these properties are. We’d like to thank everyone who came along and especially Minister Skelly for carrying out the official opening ceremony.

“I’d also like to thank all of our skilled staff who strive daily to deliver the exceptional standards and high level of finish that we are able to offer. We suggest anyone in the market for a stylish modern home, offering a superior specification and excellent value for money, visit as soon as possible as we now have only five each of the three-bedroom and four-bedroom homes remaining.”

Guest of honour Minister Laurence Skelly said: “It is wonderful to see the development of the old Gasworks site into such a nice residential environment, complementing the recent regeneration works in the town centre. With its range of independent shops, excellent leisure facilities and easy access to the countryside, Ramsey is a great place for families. It is very encouraging to see developers such as Haven Homes investing in the local economy and supporting growth in our major towns.”

To celebrate the launch weekend, visitors to the show home were treated to Shoprite vouchers and entry to a free draw for a 16MG iPad mini which was won by Brian Teague of Bride.

The show home is now open to prospective buyers every weekend from 11am – 4pm on Saturday and 2pm – 4pm on Sunday. Viewings are also available by appointment by contacting Black Grace Cowley on 645555 or Dean Wood on 816111.

North Shore is Haven Homes’ second residential development on the Island following on from its earlier Hampton Farm estate in Douglas. With striking modern designs, the 24 new North Shore houses offer high energy efficiency, elegant contemporary interiors, precision built kitchens with A-rated appliances and luxury bathrooms. All the properties come with 12-year build warranties.
