Stadium reopens on Monday

With the Island’s national stadium due to re-open after three and a half months out of action, an MHK says flood prevention work in the area has already started.

The Bowl, badly damaged in flash flooding in early December, will open to the public on Easter Monday after it was fully dried out.

Department of Education and Children member Bill Malarkey says avoiding a repeat scenario is now the key priority.
