In March 2016, the Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann was pleased to give a ?250 donation to Beach Buddies to support the work of the local beach cleaning charity.

President of Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann said:

"Beach Buddies is an amazing volunteer beach cleaning charity, based in the Isle of Man, which involves hundreds of local people. Since it was founded in 2006, it has had fantastic successes in cleaning Manx beaches of tonnes of rubbish over the last 10 years.

Supporting Beach Buddies is yet another example of how the Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann is standing up for our local community, by supporting those who need help. In doing we strive to improve lives and bring about positive change in our island. This is because as part of Rotary we believe that society works better when communities work together."
