Easter Sunday assault probed by police

Appeal for information launched

A man received facial injuries after being attacked in Strand Street on Sunday afternoon.

Police say it happened at about 3pm.

They want to identify a man and a woman who stopped to help the injured man.

They'd also like to speak to anyone who saw the attack.
