Tram group wants revisit of old prom plans

Call to reconsider 2012 submission

Friends of Douglas Bay Horse Tramway says an old planning application for Loch Promenade could save time and money.

It's urging the Department of Infrastructure to reconsider a submission which it says gained approval back in 2012.

FDBHT is disappointed the horse tramway is overlooked in the government's latest proposals.

Head of Media and Publicity Stuart Mullan says going back to the old plans would appease a lot of people:
