Island firm takes stand over complaints

Punters angry after firms refuse to pay out

An Island-based sports betting operator has issued a statement following a large number of complaints over the weekend.

Many punters contacted Isle of Man police after brands on the TGP Holdings platform withheld payments on bets placed at the Cheltenham Festival.

138.com, 12Bet, Fun88.co.uk and TLC Bet told customers they'd taken the step because of suspicious transactions.

TGP Holdings has declined Manx Radio's offer of an interview, but has issued a statement:
