Financial privacy at stake

A cyber-security expert says he’s amazed by the sheer size of a financial data leak – and suggests local businesses should take note.

Colin Tansley of Intelect Solutions trains people and organisations about data security, particularly in the finance industry.

Mr Tansley says this week’s revelations in the Panama papers are being widely reported as stories about tax havens.

But he points out  the forgotten issue is privacy and people’s rights to have their financial details kept confidential:
