Broad range of criteria for investment

The company which will manage the government's £50 million Enterprise Development Scheme says it will help protect existing on-island businesses - whilst helping new ones start up.

SPARK Impact is gearing-up its Island operation ahead of the inaugural Islexpo event next month (May 25th).

The one day conference at the Villa aims to both help develop local enterprise and encourage businesses to relocate to the Island - boosting the local economy.

The company will hear from businesses and individuals pitching for a slice of the fund.

Investment Director for Spark, Andrew Round, says the they will be using a broad range of criteria to decide on how the money is invested
