Magic moments at the Family Library

by isleofman.com 11th April 2016
Top Swedish magician Dozzie provided plenty of magic moments at a packed Family Library recently.

The magician, who was in the Isle of Man to give a workshop and lecture for the Magicians of Mann, also found time to put on the free show for young children at the library.

Mike Clague, secretary of Magicians of Mann, said: ‘We loved the show and it was wonderful to see him performing live after his lecture and prior to the workshop. He had a great time as well, and thought the audience were great.’

The 40-minute show was a huge hit with the audience and Dozzie stayed on afterwards to chat to magic fans and sign autographs.
Librarian in charge Mary Cousins said: ‘It was a wonderful show and the children who came along all had great fun – as did the parents and the library staff!’

The Family Library is next to the children’s playground in Westmoreland Road, Douglas. It operates as a charity and also runs the Mobile Library and a Schools Service.

The lecture and workshop were supported by Isle of Man Arts Council.
