2016 Postal prices

by isleofman.com 11th April 2016
Isle of Man Post Office have announced details of its 2016 postage prices which will come into effect on Monday 25th April 2016.

The price of a standard letter to the UK and Isle of Man will increase by just 1p to 45p. Isle of Man Post Office still remains cheaper than any of its major European counterparts. This year some customers will benefit from prices that have been reduced or held for a further year whilst others will see a modest increase in some postal services.

Customers will welcome the news that the popular flagship guaranteed next day service Special Delivery and our Parcelforce Worldwide services will not increase this year. Similarly, the price of the first weight step of the international letters and packets has also been held and we are pleased to be able to reduce other weight steps by up to 10% for these services.

Isle of Man Post Office will also continue to offer family and friends a free postage service to any British Forces Post Office address free of charge when sending standard letters and packets of up to 2kg.

There will be a 2.5% increase on all weight steps on letter and packet prices destined for Isle of Man and UK addresses and are determined by operational costs, changes in prices by our commercial partners and mail volumes handled.

Ancillary services such as KeepSafe, Redirect, private boxes business and residential, single collection fees and Door to Door will all be subject to a 2.5% increase but will still represent excellent value for money.
