Minister responds to MNFU criticism over proposed grant changes

Refutes suggestion that less money would go to agricultural businesses

Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Richard Ronan has reiterated his commitment to supporting Manx farmers.

It comes after criticism levelled at DEFA from the Manx National Farmers Union over proposals to integrate Agriculture and Fisheries grant schemes.

The union is concerned the move would see less money given to agricultural businesses.

But Mr Ronan says that is absolutely not the case:
