Library Steal for World Book Night

World Book Night celebrations are a real steal at the Harvey Briggs Onchan Library with a Crime Book Giveaway. The crime scene will be held on Wed 20th April 2 – 4 p.m. with thrilling reads to give away, alongside a cuppa and some criminally good cake!

The Book Giveaway continues on World Book Night itself, Saturday 23rd April. You don’t have to be a library member – just drop in. Events are free, aiming to open up the works of these exciting writers to a whole new audience.
On Thursday 21st April at 7 p.m. award winning local author, Michele McGrath, will be visiting the library to explain ‘How To Publish An ebook’ This is a ticketed event, but admission is free. World Book Night is all about sharing books with your local community, and the library staff look forward to welcoming existing members and new visitors alike to join the celebrations and discover all their local library has to offer.
