Tynwald tribute to Billy Redmayne

Condolences to Manx rider's family

Tynwald has paid tribute to Manx rider Billy Redmayne who died after a crash in the UK at the weekend.

The 25 year old Laxey rider was racing at Oliver's Mount in Scarborough on Sunday, competing in the Bob Smith Spring Cup.

He died from his injuries in hospital this morning.

Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly paid this tribute to him as Tynwald discussed appointing a new promoter for the TT:
