Library celebrates all things in black and white and read

An assortment of Island authors will illuminate this evening as World Book Night celebrations get underway in Douglas (Saturday 23rd).

The annual celebration of all things literary begins at 7pm at the Henry Bloom Noble Library.

This year it's a Shakespeare special, as 2016 commemorates the 400th anniversary of his death.

Stacey Astill, the 'Manx Bard' will be in attendance - she'll be joined by Rakie Keig, Michele McGrath, John Boyle and Michelle Tonnesen.

Tickets are free and can be reserved from the Library.
