Beecroft concerned at offshore scrutiny

Comments about financial regulation also worrying

Intense scrutiny of offshore jurisdictions could be very dangerous if not handled properly.

That's the belief of Lib Van leader Kate Beecroft.

An international spotlight has been shone onto offshore jurisdictions around the world since the so-called "Panama Papers" highlighted how the rich and famous were able to avoid paying tax.

Whilst the Island has barely featured in the documents, Mrs Beecroft says it could still be a danger and speaking on today's Present Politics, highlighted another concern
