Hard work and bravery recognised at ceremony

Chief Constable's Annual Awards handed out

Police officers and ordinary citizens who've done extraordinary things were recognised at a ceremony yesterday afternoon.

The Chief Constable's Annual Awards saw medals, trophies and commendations handed ouit to those who went the extra mile, sometimes in dangerous situations.

Several officers were also given promotions.
