Beach Buddies tackles 'final litter hotspot' this weekend

by isleofman.com 28th April 2016
Beach Buddies will be going to the coast at Sartfield, Jurby this coming weekend, 10:30am on Sunday May 1st.

This beach is in major need of cleaning after accumulating mountains of rubbish during the winter and spring. It is the final beach on our "hit list" of the worst beaches to tackle.

Please note: May 1st is the start of the bird nesting season, so all volunteers are asked to be aware of this and not disturb any birds and to clear rubbish only up to the high tide mark.

If anyone is bringing small children please keep them under supervision at all times. We will give a wildlife safety talk before the session begins.
