by isleofman.com 29th April 2016

Artisan producers encouraged to take part

If you want to exhibit at this summer's major food and drink events - now's your last chance.

Tomorrow (Fri 29th) is the deadline for producers to apply for a stand at the Southern Agricultural show, the Royal Manx Show or the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival.

All products exhibited should be grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, or smoked in the Isle of Man  or where processed, contain Manx ingredients.

Marketing Officer at DEFA Audrey Fowler says there's an ever growing number of Artisan producers on the Island.

The first of the events - the Southern Show - takes place on 30th and 31st July at Great Meadow. For more information you can contact Audrey on 685 856 . . or email her on audrey.fowler@gov.im
