Promise on forces' personnel interests

Port St Mary Commissioners have committed to an Armed Forces Military Covenant.

Chairman Bernadette Williams and Major Glen Espie, on behalf of the military, signed the document in a short ceremony at Port St Mary town hall.

Mrs Williams says the local authority is committed ‘to ensuring no returning member of the military should face any disadvantage’ when accessing community services.
