'Resilient' characters needed for Planning board

Cross-section of public sought for committee

Residents with local know-how and a resilient attitude are encouraged to apply for a new opening in government.

The Planning Committee meets regularly to make decisions on complex building and development matters.

It's hoping to attract applicants from a 'cross-section' of the public - no women currently sit on the Committee.

Member Adrian Kermode told Manx Radio it can be a tricky line of work.

For more information and an application form, you can email planning@gov.im or ring 685910.

The deadline is Friday, 27 May.
