Man who tried to import ?11K of cocaine to be sentenced

Twenty-eight year old to appear before Deemster

A Blackburn man who tried to import more than £11,000 worth of cocaine to the Island will be sentenced this morning (Friday).

Twenty-eight year-old Liam McGlinn concealed four ounces of the drug with a street value of between £11,000 and £15,600 in late January.

He has already admitted being unlawfully concerned in the importation of the drug and possession with intent to supply.

McGlinn is due to appear before Deemster Montgomerie at Douglas Courthouse.
