Tech-savvy new school takes shape

Facility set to transform teaching and learning

Technology-savvy pupils won't be disappointed by the new Henry Bloom Noble Primary School.

That promise from the Department of Education during a visit to the site on Westmoreland Road in Douglas for teachers, officials and local media on Friday.

The £9.5 million facility is on course for compeltiution by July, ready for staff and students to move from outdated premises on Tynwald Street and Demesne Road.

Head teacher Ian Walmsley says the new HBN school will be kitted out  with state-of-the-art equipment and offer children vastly improved surroundings:
