Sartfield rendez-vous for volunteers

Beach Buddies will be having a second attempt at cleaning Sartfield in Jurby today (8 May).

The session was called off last weekend due to poor weather, although a few hardy volunteers turned out to collect several bags of rubbish.

Buddies boss Bill Dale says large amounts of litter have collected at Sartfield over the winter months.

Volunteers meet at 10.30am and new faces are always welcome.

With warmer forecast Beach Buddies will be providing refreshments afterwards at a 'secret location' in Andreas - but if you want to find out more you'll have to go along!
