Garden shed broken into

Police in Douglas are appealing for help in tracing thieves who broke into a garden shed and stole a large lawn mower this weekend.

The break-in at a house on Ballabrooie Drive. took place sometime between 7pm on Friday (6 May) and 5.30pm on Saturday afternoon.

A Stihl Yard Boss motorised rotivator was taken - police say the thieves would have needed a vehicle to move it.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious is asked to contact Lord Street police station on 631212.
