Lorry and two cars collide

The Mountain Road remains closed after an accident involving two cars and a lorry on the mountain mile.

All three emergency services were called out at lunchtime, following reports two people were trapped in one of the vehicles.

Fire and ambulance crews freed the two casualties from a car, and both were treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to Noble's hospital.

All three vehicles have been made safe, but the clear-up continues and the stretch of road between Ramsey Hairpin and the Bungalow, remains closed.
