Island Invictus champion elated at Gold

Elliot overjoyed at archery victory

A Manx soldier who won a gold medal at the Invictus Games this week says he's elated to have scooped first place.

Lance Corporal Matthew Elliot, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, smashed rivals in the Novice Recurve archery final on Monday evening (9th).

The Games in Orlando, Florida are to honour the heroism of soldiers whose lives have been affected by combat.
