Ben to head back to drydock

by isleofman.com 12th May 2016

"Precautionary inspection" needed

The Ben my Chree is heading back to drydock – for a precautionary inspection.

The Steam Packet Company says it’s to make sure the vessel is ready for TT, now less than a fortnight away.

She ‘ll travel to Birkenhead on the morning of Tuesday May 17, stay just one night and resume services from Heysham at 2.15am on Thursday, May 19.

The company says it wants to find out what’s causing an unexplained vibration from one of her propellers.

Some Manannan services will also be affected – you can find out more at steam-packet.com
