Dudley wins Gran Fondo

Seventeen year old local rider Owen Dudley has taken the win in the Gran Fondo, the final event of IOM Cyclefest.

He beat Robin Garry - another Manx rider - to the line in a thrilling final sprint back to Milntown, to win in a time of 3 hours 51 minutes, 59 seconds.

It's been a great week for Owen who won the Storming the Tower hillclimb yesterday (Sat) and was sixth in the Pearl Izumi Tour Series Race on Thursday.

Martin Ford from Stoke was third.

Tim Glover described the final moments of the race.
