Class 6 license to be launched imminently

Islanders have been finding out why government is promoting business alternatives to banking.

Guests from a range of sectors were given answers at an Isle of Man Business Network event last week. 

The 'Class 6' licence will be launched imminently - making the Island the first International Business Centre to create a regulatory framework for crowdfunding.

Head of Corporate Financial Services John Garland says the Financial Services Authority is driving it forward:
