Isle of Man Creamery and Noa Bakehouse team up

by isleofman.com 18th May 2016

Isle of Man Creamery is excited to be able to offer its doorstep delivery customers the chance to have Noa Bakehouse breads, pastries and locally roasted coffee beans delivered straight to their door with their Creamery order.

Isle of Man Creamery is known for its award-winning dairy products including milk, cheese, butter and cream. The fresh local milk from the 31 farmers that make up the farmers’ cooperative never travels more than 15 miles from farm to creamery, helping to ensure the best quality and freshest milk. All of its products have been available for free home delivery for many years and they are now pleased to be able to offer an extended range through its partnership with Noa Bakehouse.

Noa Bakehouse is a family run business known for its sourdough bread made fresh by its team of five bakers’ every day. It prides itself on using local produce such as Laxey Mill’s flour for its bread and pastries and the team put local produce and artisan traditions at the top of their agenda. Noa has recently opened its coffee roastery, building an ethical supply chain of handpicked beans and coffee farms to supply high quality blends and single origin beans.

Isle of Man Creamery customers wishing to add Noa Bakehouse products to their delivery are required to purchase a wooden box to place outside their homes to ensure their deliveries are not damaged by the elements or wildlife. The boxes are hand made by local registered charity The Manx Workshop for the Disabled and can be personalised with an address or name as part of the cost. Outsourcing the production of these boxes to The Workshop enables them to keep more people in employment and grow their business. The boxes will cost ?20, which has been subsidised by Isle of Man Creamery and Noa Bakehouse and will be delivered to your door in time for the first delivery of bread. Customers only wishing to purchase Isle of Man Creamery produce do not need to order a box.

Managing Director of Isle of Man Creamery, Findlay Macleod said ‘Everyone here is thrilled to be partnering with Noa Bakehouse and offer our customers quality local produce delivered straight to their door, just in time for breakfast. It’s also great to be able to support a fantastic local charity like the Manx Workshop for the Disabled who have created a top quality crate for our customers.’

Miles Pettit, owner of Noa said: ‘We strongly believe in the power of good Manx produce and that fresh, locally sourced food is always better! We are excited to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to have our products delivered to them along with the fantastic local produce from Isle of Man Creamery.’

People who would like to sign-up for doorstep delivery or add new Noa products onto their existing delivery are asked to call Isle of Man Creamery on 632000. Deliveries of Noa Bakehouse products will commence on Monday 20th June however customers are welcome to place orders in advance.
