Nancy Rawson wins the Easter Treasure Hunt at Milntown

by isleofman.com 18th May 2016
9 year old Nancy Rawson from Douglas was the proud winner of this year’s Easter Treasure Hunt at Milntown, the stately home in the North of the Isle of Man. The event, which ran throughout the Easter holidays saw over 300 children searching for pictures of Easter eggs around the 15 acres of grounds. The Milntown event this year was kindly sponsored by Shoprite who provided the mini eggs for the entrants and also the star prize.

Nancy attends Willaston School and lives in Douglas but is a regular visitor to Milntown for the Easter Treasure Hunt with her dad Jim.

Nancy’s winning entry was selected from all the children that participated in the event, her star prize was a HUGE Cadbury’s Cream Egg Easter Egg donated by Shoprite.

Congratulations Nancy and well done to all those who took part.

The Milntown Easter Treasure Hunt is one of an extensive range of events hosted by Milntown throughout the year. The next treasure hunt to take place at Milntown will run during the summer holidays. Milntown’s vintage cars and some of their vintage motorbikes will be on display during TT Practice Week. For the full list go to their website www.milntown.org or visit the Milntown facebook page.
