Beach Buddies at assist Southern 100

by isleofman.com 19th May 2016
Beach Buddies is once again giving its support to Southern 100 Motorcycle Racing with a clean-up of the roadside on the Billown circuit prior to the Pre-TT Classic.

This is the fourth year that Beach Buddies has provided a team of volunteers to remove roadside rubbish prior to the racing.
The event this year will take place on Tuesday, May 24th. It requires a team of 12 or more to run the clean-up efficiently, and anyone interested is asked to meet at the Southern 100 headquarters at 10am.

There is no need to register, anyone interested in supporting should simply turn up. All equipment will be provided, including hi-vis jackets. Beach Buddies will remove all rubbish collected, and recycle as much of it as possible. The charity recommends that this event is not suitable for children.

Beach Buddies will get involved again in early July in a repeat event, prior to the Southern 100 itself which takes place from July 11th.
