Pet passports could prevent illegal animal trading

Manx SPCA says new laws could stop controversial puppy farms in IoM

The introduction of so-called pet passports will protect the Island's animals from illegal trade.

That's according to the general manager of the Manx SPCA.

Earlier this week a number of proposals were given Tynwald approval to improve the health and wellbeing of animals in the Isle of Man.

Juana Warburton says keeping track of what animals come and go can have great benefits.
