Club Chairman Tim Leeming said: “We presented the children at Rebecca House Christmas boxes last year and during that visit everyone involved was so touched by the care provided by the team we all felt we wanted to do more.
At a recent club meeting the decision was made to make this a firm commitment and we are delighted that the Rebecca House team share the vision and can see the benefits of this partnership.
We have about 200 hockey members and a buoyant junior section so we hoping that we can engender greater awareness amongst the members and some long lasting associations with this important charity. We will be very proud to wear the Rebecca House logo on our shirts every week.
We look forward to seeing the fund raising events and joint activities over the coming months. The whole club is excited”
