In accordance with the Local Elections Act 1986 a bye-election in Murrays ward to elect one member to Douglas Borough Council will be held on June 16, 2016.
Candidates nominated are:
• Falk Horning, Flat 4, 11 Woodville Terrace, Douglas, (independent);
• Kieran Anthony Derek Lavery, 23 Springfield Avenue, Douglas, (semi-retired taxi driver);
• Keith Edward Teare, 18 Malvern Road, Douglas (taxi driver).
Polling stations, open from 8am to 8pm, will be at:
• Albany Polling District: Masonic Hall, Woodbourne Road;
• Garden City Polling District: MacFadyen Hall, Tromode Road;
• Somerset Polling District: St Ninian’s High School.
