Mountain Road incident leaves Suffolk man seriously injured

Police say a biker seriously injured in a crash on the Mountain Road yesterday has been transferred to a hospital in the UK for treatment.

The incident happened at 4.40pm on Sunday near Joey’s at the 26th Milestone, and two visiting bikers were involved.

Two black Honda CBR900s crashed – one ridden by a Suffolk man, the other by a man from Gosport.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to contact them on 631212.
