Travelwatch queries Steam Packet's proposals

It's time to compare the Steam Packet's £170 million proposals against what residents want.

That's according to the TravelWatch lead on sea issues who insists government should publish its 2015 public consultation on sea services online.

Tynwald can choose to do nothing until 2026 when the agreement expires, go to competitive tender in 2023, or negotiate, accept or reject the offer.

It will see plans which include the purchase of two new vessels in July - John Pennington says its travellers must be presented with the facts too:
