Cop selfies uniformly loved

Manx force keen to be in TT pix

It used to be about wanting to know the time, but in the 21st century if you want to take a selfie, ask a policeman!

The Island’s Constabulary is urging people to post pictures of themselves with officers throughout the TT.

Inspector Derek Flint says people should post them to Twitter using the hashtag #CopSelfie over the festival fortnight.

The social media initiative began last year, and Inspector Flint says it’s a good way of engaging with visitors and locals alike:
