by isleofman.com 1st June 2016

Vessel was on its way to the Island

Peel lifeboat was called out last night to help a yacht in Manx waters.

The Ruby Cleary was launched at around 9pm to go to the aid of the vessel, which was two to three miles north west of Peel.

When the crew got to the yacht the engine was restarted by the owner and help was not needed.

The lifeboat accompanied the vessel safely into Peel, its intended destination.
