Popular coffee shop opens outlet in Strand Street

by isleofman.com 1st June 2016

The Isle of Man franchise of Coffee Republic has opened a new outlet of its popular coffee bar on Strand Street, Douglas.

This new store is in addition to its existing Victoria Street one and there are plans to open further premises in another two locations on the Island (later this year) as well as in Scotland, England and Gibraltar.

“We’re very excited about expanding our new coffee bar design concept. It’s been our aspiration since we purchased the existing Coffee Republic franchise on the Island in 2015.” says Coffee Republic Isle of Man co-owner Adrian Christian.

Coffee Republic’s brand identity was recently refreshed and drew influence from Continental European cafes combined with US style diners – old world comfort meets slick new world vibrancy.

“Our quality, service and environment reflects our commitment and determination to respond to the coffee bar needs of our Isle of Man customers. We use an artisan Italian blended coffee and our food is freshly prepared every day using Manx produce. We are passionate about satisfying every type of customer whether it’s business related, time with friends or some relaxing time alone.” says Adrian.

Coffee Republic is also the only major UK brand to offer both Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade Coffee for their unique blend of coffee which is slow-roasted the Italian way for a full bodied flavour.

In addition to the new store openings, a new marketing campaign has been launched called “Join the Republic” which gives customers the opportunity to receive a free ‘Priority Card’ with 10% off all food and drink purchases for 12 months and invitations to exclusive evening events that will be held at the Coffee Republic bars.
