New exchange network to 'make internet cheaper'

Providers come together to cut prices

Cheaper and more efficient internet provision could be on the horizon.

The chairman of BlueWave Communications, Dr Adam Beaumont, says a new exchange network group will begin work to meet that demand by July.

Several providers founded it to reduce the price of the 'raw product' for residents and businesses currently paying 100 per cent more than their UK counterparts.

Adam says it builds on Stuart Baggs' work to improve the cost and speed for Manx consumers:
