Serious crash at Hailwood's - police seek witnesses

Incident happened before 7am

Police have issued a further update about Thursday morning's crash on the Mountain Road.

They say they are dealing with a serious incident at Hailwood's, between the Bungalow and Brandywell.

The crash happened at about 6.45am.

The Mountain Road was shut between Ramsey and Brandywell for around three-and-a-half hours, while the emergency services dealt with the aftermath.

Inspector Derek Flint referred to the incident during his morning update on Manx Radio TT: (play audio)

Police are appealing for any further witnesses who have not yet come forward to call them on 631212.
