You could be enjoying a magical festive family trip to Lapland if you are the lucky winner of a fantastic new raffle launched by Manx Cancer Help today.
The incredible prize, worth more than ?2,000, will see four people whisked away for an unforgettable day of fun and adventure in the snow on 19th December.
After flying into Pajala, in Swedish Lapland, the winners will enjoy a Search for Santa, snowmobile adventure, reindeer sleigh ride, Husky dog experience, tobogganing, snowman-making and much more.
They will also be treated to hot drinks, a two course Lappish lunch and thermal clothing will be provided.
But the highlight of the trip will be a private meeting with the man himself, Santa Claus, just days before Christmas - and there may even be an early gift for the little ones.
Manx Cancer Help’s Fundraising Events Co-ordinator Kathryn Hodgson said: ‘This is an amazing opportunity to win a dream trip; what could be better than the snow of Lapland and meeting Santa at Christmas? We really appreciate the support of Freedom Travel, which has allowed us to offer this incredible experience as a prize in our raffle, and are confident the tickets will sell very quickly.
‘Tickets are available from Manx Cancer Help offices at The Lisa Lowe Centre, Braddan, and in Hope Street, Douglas, at the back of the Hamblin Employment Group office. Hamblin will also have a stock of tickets to purchase from their reception. They cost just ?5, and the funds we raise from the raffle will help us continue to provide vital help and support to cancer sufferers in the Island.’
The draw will take place on 20th November 2016.
Manx Cancer Help provides specialist psychological and emotional support to anyone whose life has been affected by a cancer diagnosis, and is entirely self-funded.
